CIRCUIT CLASSES
PILATES CIRCUIT
Our Pilates Circuit is a 60 minute class which includes 6 circuit stations using the 3 different types of Pilates equipment we have in the studio along with hand weights and functional body weight exercises. Each station is 20 minutes in length and is suitable for all fitness levels so you can work at your own pace. This is a head to toe workout that will improve strength and balance. This is a fun class which incorporates the use of two Merrithew Professional Pilates Reformers, two Spring Walls and two Bosu/Mat stations. Clients will circulate through each station focusing on form and Pilates principles under the direction of an instructor. Maximum 6 clients per class.
SPECIAL NOTES: Classes are available to those clients who hold valid Circuit Class Passes, Premium Memberships or Trial Membership Add Ons only. Clients must wear Pilates/Yoga grip socks during our Pilates Circuit Classes. Socks are available for purchase at the studio.

BARRE & PILATES CLASSES
BARRE ENERGY |
Our Barre Energy class is a fun and intense workout! This barre class is a comprehensive total body workout that lifts your seat, tones your thighs, abs and arms, and burns fat in record-breaking time. While primarily working those muscles, we always maintain core stability and whole body alignment, making every exercise a full body exercise. Barre Energy is a great way to tone muscles and burn calories. Muscles are worked to the point of fatigue and then released through stretching movements to create long, lean muscles. This class can be modified to be as intense or as easy as the individual desires, all levels are welcome!
BARRELATES
This is a 50/50 class of Classic Barre and Classical Pilates or Classic Barre with Core challenging exercises using flex-bands, balls, foam rollers, and hand held weights. Less time spent at the barre and more time spent on your mats. This class sculpts, tones, and gives you a strong core workout, incorporating Barre and Pilates elements. This class is Level 1 to L1/2 and is suitable for beginner and intermediate students.
FLEXIBLE FRIDAY
Join us Friday nights for a unique class! Our "Flexible Friday" concept will alternate between Yoga, Pilates or Barre Inspired classes...the ultimate in flexibility in more ways than one! Clients can expect classes taught by Courtney to be Yoga based adding breath to movement in a flow style of class. You'll Vinyasa (Flow) between poses being sure to build mobility and strength. On Friday nights when Diane teaches, expect the unexpected! Classes will either be Mat Pilates, Barre or a fusion of both disciplines - Barrelates! We will strengthen our entire body, including our core (our "Power House") in each class using our own body weight or fun props! All levels are welcome, clients will be provided with modifications no matter who is teaching what style. Get the best of each discipline on Friday nights this winter!Classes are scheduled for January and February throughout the winter!
YOGA BARRE
The perfect pairing of two disciplines, yoga and barre! In Yoga Barre, your favourite yoga class meets a ballet barre workout for the ultimate fitness experience. This intense, but easy to follow class is a total body workout combining yoga and ballet inspired moves to target smaller muscle groups and lengthen your body. Our yoga barre class will have your muscles burning and balance challenged! All levels welcome suitable for beginners, no ballet experience required.
YOGA CLASSES
CANDLELIGHT DEEP STRETCH HATHA
Inspired by Classical Hatha Yoga, this Virtual Candlelight Deep Stretch class turns the focus from the external body to the internal body, spending time in each pose to become aware of the subtle adjustments and nuances of the pose. Sometimes the extra time requires increased endurance and strength, sometimes it requires deeper release and stretch. Because of the intensity of longer holds, modifications are provided for students of all levels to experience a pose to the fullest extent of their unique body. Classes are experienced in candlelight including a deep meditative experience to reduce stress and anxiety. This class is great for both beginners and advanced practitioners, and modifications are provided for all levels. It is an excellent class for people who wish to work on specific muscle areas in the hips, legs, and back to increase range of motion and to allow for deeper stretching and reduction of injury.

CHILL YOGA
Recommended for all levels, beginners are always welcome! This soothing gentle practice focuses on moving slowly into basic yoga poses while using the breath as a tool to remain present and mindful. The slow pace of this class allows you to enjoy the simple sweetness of each pose. Expect lots of stretching and lenghtening with a heavy dose of relaxation to wrap up your practice and leave you feeling ready for a great night's sleep!
CORE CONDITIONING YOGA
A strong core enhances your yoga practice immeasurably and promotes healthy posture off the mat too. In this class Power Yoga style class you’ll strengthen the core by combining traditional yoga with core-strengthening moves. Core Conditioning is a heat building practice that allows you to move with your breath while building strength and working on your core. This is a challenging class, not recommended for beginners.
ENERGIZE & RESTORE FLOW
This Energize & Restore Flow class is based on the classic and ancient practices with care and attention given to many different layers of yoga. Strengthen the Body, Calm the Mind, Open the Heart. Our Energize & Restore Flow class is taught with unique sequencing to promote a dynamic + relaxing experience. This class incorporates all aspects of a traditional Hatha yoga class – breath, meditation and postures – while challenging your co-ordination through movement. This class is Level 1/2 and is suitable for beginner and intermediate students. This is a challenging class, not recommended for beginners.

FIT BODY & MIND
Transform your physique through this Full Body Fusion class, in Fit Body and Mind you’ll discover an approach to shaping your body combining various disciplines of movement. This fusion class incorporates Yoga, Pilates, Resistance exercises, and Cardio to get your heart rate up. You’ll get all of this in just ONE class, maximizing your workout and your time! Join this challenging and dynamic workout where you’ll gain strength, muscle, definition, flexibility, balance and overall mind-body health! This is a challenging class, not recommended for beginners.
GENTLE YOGA
Gentle and therapeutic Hatha class focuses on breathing and stretching out tight, achy muscles. Great for recovery from running, cycling or any activity that may cause muscle soreness. Suitable for all levels.
HATHA FLOW & STRETCH
This Hatha Flow & Stretch class is a balanced combination of sustained poses with attention to basic alignment and therapeutic principals. Mindfulness; observing breath and body are an integral part of class. This style of yoga provides a great stretch and strengthens the body and is suitable for level 1 and 2 students. Flexibility is not required, ideal for all levels.
HEALTHY SPINE YOGA
This slower paced Healthy Spine Yoga class is ideal for anyone experiencing back, neck or shoulder problems, including pain and postural issues (such as scoliosis). Come lengthen your spine and move out of the habitual behaviours that are causing back pain and limiting optimal mobility. Let's move our spine in all essential directions to keep it healthy these will include extensions, forward bends, back bends, side bends and twists! All levels welcome including those new to yoga and beginners.
HIP OPENING YOGA
This Hip Opening Yoga class is designed to stretch and open your hips, it will help you to let go of the built up tightness and tension stored in this area. The many benefits of this class include: Calming of the brain, stimulates the liver and kidneys and stretches the hamstrings, calves, and thighs. It also strengthens the thighs, knees, and ankles and stretches the back of the leg, the front thigh and groin. This class is suitable for level 1 and 2 students.
MEDITATIVE FLOW
This Meditative Flow Yoga class flows through a series of movements at a slow pace with extended time for a concentrated focus on your attention and mind connecting with breath. Well-suited for those with stress, anxiety or trouble sleeping.
MINDFUL MONDAY FLOW
Start your week with an intension set at the beginning of this class. We'll move with our breath from one pose to the next in a slow and mindful pace with extended time when needed for a concentrated focus on your attention. Well-suited for those looking to start their week off with movement, motivation and inspiration. All levels are welcome.
MORNING GENTLE YOGA
Morning Gentle Yoga is perfect for anyone looking to begin their day connecting breath and movement in a mindful way to help soften tight muscles, ease joint pain, connect the body and mind at a peaceful, slower pace. A perfect bridge between moving in flow and staying stationary. All levels are welcome!
RISE AND SHINE YANG & YIN
We start off this early morning class with 40 minutes of Yang (active), muscular, and energizing practice and then spend the remainder 20 minutes of class practicing Yin. Yin is a quiet, inward practice that uses long, passive holds to get into the deep connective tissues. Emphasis is on the hips, groin & low back as well as stimulating the lower body meridian lines. This class will include Sun Salutations to get your blood flowing. An absolutely beautiful way to let go of the stress and tension to start off your week. All levels are welcome.
SELF - MASSAGE YOGA
This unique class is a guided self-massage yoga class using the aids from Pilates and lacrosse balls. The class is designed to improve mobility, give permission to our bodies to be in flow, and be aware of where tensions are building in our bodies. The intended outcome of the class is to reconnect with our body, mind, and soul. Massage Balls will be available for use at the studio during class.
STRETCH & RELEASE
This Pop Up Stretch & Release class is part of our Self Care Sundays intiative! This class focuses on stretches and release techniques for the whole body to improve posture and mobility. The emphasis will be to increase joint flexibility as well as decrease stress and stiffness in the body without strain on the joints. Every class includes myofascial release work and will also include postures and movements for stretching the neck and shoulders and the lower back and hips. Stretch & release is gentle and suitable for students of all levels including beginners. This class is not offered each week, please check our monthly calendar for scheduling.
